The Dainik Jagran Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) Awards function 2019 happened on 27th Feb, 2019 at Eros Hotel, Nehru Place, New Delhi.
The function as well as the award ceremony was an initiative of Jagran Pehel – which is Dainik Jagran’s CSR arm. Jagran Pehel is headed by Shri Sarva Mitra Sharma – a gentleman who’s attention to detail and approach to managing and public outreach this writer is a huge fan of.
The guest of honour at the function was Shri Manoj Sinha – BJP MP and Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Communications and MoS for Railways.
Shri Manoj Sinha is a civil engineer from IT-BHU (now IIT BHU) and is known to be among the quietest workers and among the most effective ministers in terms of getting stuff done – in the current government. Well atleast the speech he gave was thoughtful, informative and thought-provoking and fairly short and well received by the audience.

The event was especially interesting that part of the event compering was done by Shri.Rana Singh, Vice Chancellor of Sanskriti University – who at 44 is among the youngest VCs of any university anywhere.
