Shauk.in had a chance to attend an event and learn about Sair.in – a travel site that’s trying to emerge as a travel community with a difference.
Check out this 2 minute video we put together– using Sair.in co-Founder and CEO Shruti ‘s own words from a podcast interview- to explain this startup’s unique concept and value proposition!

Not only does Sair.in offer several curated travel concepts – but there are also many day-trips; excursions, outings and sight-seeing events on Sair’s website – curated by passionate local experts whetted and sampled by Sair – for safety, knowledge level and most of all friendliness and helpfulness – which Sair hopes will be the next big thing in travel, sight-seeing and excursions.
At the event we had a chance to meet and interact with several members of Sair’s team, including Sair’s CEO Shruti – who is a Harvard Business School Alumna. Sair’s CTO Shobhita – who turned down admission offers from Carnegie Mellon University not once but twice; and along with other members of Sair’s team, we also met Azeez , also an IITian and Harvard Business School Alumnus who conducted an amazing travel quiz with quirky but workable questions, and uniquely awesome energy and humour.
Ms Rana Safvi – noted historian and author too was an invitee to the event. Just as the the event ended, Ms Safvi took interested attendees on a walk through Hauz Khas village, stopping at monuments to talk of their history, their significance and unique details that enthralled and enchanted all the attendees.
Ms Rana Safvi’s newest book – Shahjahanabad – the third and final book of her Delhi Trilogy – which as of 19th Oct 2019 is unreleased – and scheduled to be released sometime around end-october.
We wish Sair and it’s team all the best – and look forward to seeing what new oceans Sair carries the world of travel into!
