At an event in New Delhi, GameLoft celebrated both the 10th anniversary of it’s Asphalt Car racing mobile game and also the olympic spirit with Delhi’s gamer and geek communities – both by having a bunch of mini-gaming competitions and by cutting a cake and having artists do express art sessions with themes and cars from their games!
Fun Fact: Asphalt Nitro – is a highly optimised version of GameLoft’s Asphalt mobile game – which is under 25 MB in size on the Android platform – and is targetted at gamers in countries like India with high data costs and often low end android phones with low memory and storage… and has been a runaway hit since it’s inception!
For Me, personally – it reopened my interest in car racing games – which had been somewhat dulled seeing 1 GB+ or even 2GB+ expansion APK downloads for games like Asphalt and “Need for Speed”- which would leave my mobile gasping for life and struggling to run!
